#Introducing the brand kit

Maintaining a consistent look and feel across your training materials is essential for building a professional learning experience. The Brand kit is designed to help you define and save your visual identity in one central location, ensuring that your colors, typography, and logos remain consistent across every project you create.

#Accessing the brand kit

You can manage your brand assets directly from within a microcourse. Simply locate the Brand kit option within the themes menu to begin building your visual identity. This hub allows you to create and persist themes that can be applied to any microcourse with just a few clicks.

#Managing your brand assets

The brand kit acts as a repository for the core elements of your brand. Within this space, you can customize and save the following:

#Logos

You can upload and save multiple logo variants to ensure you have the right version for every layout. This includes your Primary, Secondary, and Icon variants. The brand kit supports SVG, PNG, and JPG formats.

#Themes and colors

Define your brand’s color palette by setting specific Accent, Text, and Background colors. You can also customize the appearance of your Start and Finish screens to ensure your courses begin and end with high impact.

#Typography

Consistent typography is key to readability. You can customize font families, sizes, and weights for both headers and body text. For users on an Enterprise plan, the brand kit also includes the ability to upload custom font files in WOFF, WOFF2, TTF, or OTF formats.

#Image library

To streamline your workflow, the Image library now lives within the Brand kit. This makes it easier to manage your visual assets alongside your themes and logos.

#Using themes in the microcourse builder

When you are working inside the microcourse, you will see a new Theme button in the header. Clicking this opens a dropdown menu where you can quickly select and apply any of your saved themes.

  • Applying a theme: Selecting a theme from the dropdown will count as a change to the course, so remember to click Publish to push those visual updates to your learners.

  • Creating on the fly: If you need a new look, the Create theme option within the builder will take you directly to the Brand kit to design a new preset.

  • Legacy themes: If you are a legacy user on an upgraded plan, the Save theme state will prompt you to save your existing custom settings as a formal theme, ensuring they are available for future projects.
