What is the Form challenge screen?

The Form Challenge Template provides you with a range of different forms with which to test your learners’ knowledge. This makes it a great screen for testing almost any type of learning, particularly questions that require a sequence of answers.

The options available within the Form Challenge screen are:

  • Label/Title: This can be used to give each of your forms a label or title.

  • Description: This is a text box that lets you provide a description or give instructions for each of your forms.

  • Divider: This adds a dividing line between sections.

  • Radio Buttons: The Radio buttons option presents learners with a range of answers, which they must choose from by clicking the button next to the potential answer.

  • Dropdown select: With the Dropdown select option, learners can choose their answer from a range of options in a dropdown menu.

  • Input text: The Input text option comprises a text box with a question inside. Learners are required to click on the box and type out the answer to the question. The Input text option is great for testing recall memory or for requiring learners to type an exact answer to a mathematical problem.

How do I use the Form Challenge template?

Step 1: To get started, add a new Lesson to your Course, or navigate to an existing one. Click the ‘Add screen’ button in the lesson on the course sidebar menu.

Step 2: Select ‘Form challenge’ from the screen select drawer under the ‘Challenge screens’ section.

Step 3: Give your screen a title and click the ‘Add screen’ button to confirm.

Step 4: You will now land in the Form challenge screen. It will already have Radio buttons, as shown below. From here, you can add any of the form elements by selecting 'Add form element' in the bottom left corner.

Step 5: Finish creating your form challenge by adding the elements.
