Overview

As you navigate through the Coassemble platform, you'll notice a number of references to folders. Folders allow you to organise the resources you create into different folders that you can then use to filter and sort results on the home screen, within Reports, and from the Library.

Managing folders from the Library

To get to your Library, click on the 'Library' button on the navigation bar.

To add a new folder, click the 'Courses' button from the sidebar. Once you've created your new folder you'll be able to start adding new resources, or move existing resources to the folder.

By default, the Library displays all of your Lessons, Quizzes and Assignments. To filter the results, simply select the folder dropdown menu, and select your folder.

You can also filter by resource type (Courses, Lessons, Quizzes, Assignments). When you filter by Lessons, Quizzes or Assignments, you will be able to click on the resource to see what Courses the resource has been added to. If you open the context menu by clicking the three dots (...), you will also see a number of actions that can be taken on the resource. These include preview, move, share, copy, and delete.

Moving resources between folders

When you create a Lesson, Quiz or Assignment within a Course, it is automatically assigned to the folder that Course belongs to. They can however be moved from one folder to another by choosing the 'Move resource to' option from the context menu within the Library. This is shown below.

Using Folders as filters

Folders can be used to filter courses from within the 'Create' view, and from the Results report.

By default, the Workspace displays Courses from all folders. To filter by a particular folder, click the 'All folders' selector and switch it to the name of the folder you want to filter by.

You can also filter the results on the 'Results report' in the same way.
