Often, you may think you have accidentally deleted a Course or module, but it's more likely that you have archived the course or removed the module. We will walk you through both of these situations below.
If you have accidentally archived a Course...
If you have accidentally archived a Course, you will be able to locate it in 'Archived courses'
Step 1: Navigate to the filter at the top of your Workspace. Select the dropdown and switch the view from 'Published courses' to 'Archived courses'.
Step 2: All your archived items will appear. Hover over the Course you would like to restore. Click on the Restore button on the item you want to recover. You will then view a pop-up confirming that you would like to restore the course, and you will need to select 'Restore course' to finalize the process. If you switch back to the 'Published courses' view, the recovered items will now appear.
If you have accidentally removed a Lesson, Quiz or Assignment...
If you have accidentally removed a module from within a Course, you can recover the module from the Library.
Step 1: Select 'Add module' inside the Course that you need to add the resource to.
Step 2: Click on 'Select from Library' to find the module.
Step 3: Search for your module and select 'Duplicate module'. The module will then be duplicated and added back to your Course. You will then be able to view the module within the sidebar.
Warnings ⚠️
If you are viewing Archived courses and choose to Delete a course whilst in this view by clicking the red button below and then confirming deletion, you will be unable to recover this course.
Similarly, if you delete a Lesson, Quiz or Assignment from the Library (as shown below), you will not be able to recover this resource. To prevent these situations from occurring, we have the following warnings in place and you are required to click 'Delete' multiple times to confirm deletion.
