What is the Springy list screen?
The Springy list screen allows you to present a large amount of information in a list format, chunking the information into sections and prompting your learners to explore each section to reveal more information. As the Springy list screen only displays information for one section at a time, the cognitive load on your learners is reduced, making it easier to retain the information.
Additionally, the Springy list screen can be used to create a more hierarchical and structured layout, making it easier for learners to understand the organization of the content.
When to use the Springy list screen
The Springy screen is extremely versatile and can be used for many purposes. Here are just a few:
Creating an interactive glossary
Outlining brand values
Describing teams within a business
Setting out tasks in more detail
Detailing roles in a business
Displaying product images with descriptions
Organizing a large amount of content on the screen, allowing learners to reveal only the information that they are interested in

Images
If you want to display images inside the list buttons, click the display options icon from the screen options toolbar and check the ‘Image’ option. Doing this will reveal the image uploader. Click this, or drag an image onto it to add an image.
There are no specific rules about what size or ratio your image needs to be. You don't need to crop your images, simply add an image, and it will fill or fit the image container.
In addition to button images, you can also add a background image that will appear behind the buttons. If you choose this option, you’ll notice that the inactive buttons become semi-transparent to make it easier for learners to see the image.
Colors
You can adjust the colors of the Springy list buttons by using Coassemble's SmartColor™ feature. Simply choose a color you want to use as your base, and Coassemble will select a subtle color selection based on your chosen color. Click here to find out more about SmartColor™. You can also change the color of each button individually if you choose.
Flip layout
The Springy list layout can be flipped to display the buttons on the left, or to the right of the descriptions.
