Coassemble has recently launched an AI Assistant for Lesson screens. The AI Assistant is extremely helpful for generating content from scratch, particularly if you're unsure where to start, or you have a course that is missing some key pieces of content.

The AI assistant uses the GPT-3 API, which you may be familiar with if you’ve tried ChatGPT. In light of this, the system may generate incorrect or misleading information, and produce offensive or biased content.

When choosing a lesson screen, you'll notice that only some screen types are supported by the AI assistant. These include:

If you select one of these screens, you'll be able to opt-in by toggling the assistant ON.

Toggling the assistant ON will reveal a description field that asks you to provide more details on what you want the assistant to write for you. Although the assistant can write content based on your title alone, you will get better results if you are more specific about what you want it to write.

Once you've provided more information, click the 'Generate' button and wait for the magic to happen.

When the assistant has finished generating the content, watch as it carefully builds your screen out for you, putting everything in just the right place. From here, you can edit the content as you need.
