If it's important that your learners watch the entirety of the videos you add to your course, you can use the enforce completion feature to ensure they watch every second.

Using enforce completion

You can force learners to watch an entire video before they proceed to the next screen by switching on the Enforce completion option

To use this feature, simply click the Enforce completion button at the top of the video screen, and then toggle the feature on.

Once enabled, learners will be required to watch an entire video before they can proceed to the next screen. This will be indicated by a lock that appears in place of the navigation arrow.

Types of videos supported

The enforce completion feature will work with any uploaded videos using the video upload feature, plus Vimeo or Youtube links.

Progress storing

The enforce completion feature stores the progress for learners, so if you have long videos, they can come back and start where they left off. Note that this will only work with videos uploaded using the video upload feature β€” Coassemble is unable to store the progress for Vimeo or Youtube videos.
