We recommend uploading a file under 2GB for faster upload time. If your file is larger than that, expect a longer delay (keep your Coassemble tab open and go grab a coffee ☕️ or work on something else).

What to expect when uploading

When the upload bar stays at 'Upload completed!' please wait - it means we are currently processing your video.

Once the video has completed uploading, you can add your video title & description, and press 'Done'.

Troubleshooting steps

  • If the upload is taking a lot of time, consider uploading the video to another platform or splitting the video up to make the file size smaller. We recommend using HandBrake for this. It is a free open-source tool for converting video from nearly any format to a selection of modern, widely supported codecs.

  • If the video exists in another platform (e.g. Vimeo, Youtube, Google Drive, Dropbox), consider embedding the video by using the Embed URL. Remember to make sure the video isn’t private so it can be accessible to your learners trying to view it.
