The Input Text Template requires Participants to answer a question by typing the answer in an available box. This makes it perfect for testing recall memory.
Here’s how you can make your own Input Text Template in Coassemble:
Step 1: Select the Input Text Template from the ‘Checkpoint Questions’ panel.
Step 2: Drag your Input Text Template into the Lesson Pathway.
Step 3: Give your new Tile a title.
Step 4: Click the ‘Edit Tile’ button.
Note: From the edit screen, you can choose to change your title.
Step 5: There will be a Input question preloaded in the ‘Checkpoint Question Editor’ box. Click the edit button to start creating it.
Step 6: Enter your question text.
Step 7: Enter the answer to your question.
You can add additional correct answers using the 'Add Answer' button
Note: The Input Text Template offers two additional options. Firstly, you can provide custom feedback, which lets you add custom feedback text for both correct and incorrect answers. You can also map your learning outcomes to each question.
To continue adding questions, simply go back to the ‘Checkpoint Question Editor’ box and click on the green ‘Add New Question’ button.
Step 8: To preview your template, click on the ‘preview’ icon.
