With the Side Slide Template, your information will appear as a series of circular graphics onscreen. Your Participants can click on these graphics to access more information on them, in the form of a box of text that slides onto the screen.

Before you start:

Before you start, find the images you’d like to use. It’s good to keep in mind that the Side Slide Template will work best with square images around 120 pixels wide – remember, though, that the corners of your images will be cut out so that they become circular.

Let’s look at how you can make your own Side Slide Template in Coassemble:

Step 1: Select the Side Slide Template from the ‘Presentation’ panel.

Step 2: Drag your Side Slide Template into the Lesson Pathway.

Step 3: Give your new Tile a title.

Step 4: Click the ‘Edit Tile’ button.

Step 5: From the edit screen, you can choose to change your title, and enter a description. A description is optional, and will appear under your title if you chose one.

Step 6: To start building your Side Slide Template, select the green ‘Add New Item’ button.

Step 7: Choose your image and enter a title and description for it.

Image Tips: Remember that the Side Slide Template will always display a maximum of 3 images in a row. It will also crop their corners, so watch out when choosing square images. We recommend a size of 250 x 250 pixels.

Step 8: When you’re done adding your image, title, and text, select the green checkmark to save your changes.

Note: To add additional images, simply repeat the process.

You can re-order each item by using the ‘drag and drop’ handles on the left. The order they’re displayed in here is the order that will be displayed to Participants.

Step 11: To preview your interactive template, click on the ‘preview’ icon.
