What is the Drop Tab template?
The Drop Tab template is a great way to:
- Introduce new concepts and processes
- Highlight categories of information within a topic
Using conceptually linked images to enhance the learners' ability to easily digest and memorise information.
Note: Before you begin creating your Drop Tab Template, you’ll need to prepare your image or images - view the recommended image sizes here.
How do I use the Drop Tab template?
Step 1: Select the ‘Drop Tab’ Template from the Presentation template panel.
Step 2: Drag the ‘Drop Tab’ template into the lesson pathway. You will be prompted to give your new screen a title.
Step 3: Click the ‘Edit’ button.
Step 4: From the edit screen, you can choose to change your title, and enter a description. A description is optional and will appear under your title if you chose one.
Note: Don’t forget to save your changes using the blue ‘Save’ button when you’re finished.
Step 5: To start building your ‘Drop Tab’ Template, select the blue ‘Add new item’ button.
Step 6: From the new tab screen, you will be able to add an image (as previously mentioned, please view images sizes for more information), and enter a description for the content. Once you are finished making changes, click the blue checkmark to save your work.
Note: To add additional list segments, simply repeat the process.
