The Word Circle Template provides a fun way for learners to explore the definitions and meaning of words and ideas. Using a graphic or photo within your word circle can be an effective way to introduce new material, or as a visual way to connect ideas. Combining text with images is not only fun and engaging for your Participants, it’s also effective!

Here’s how to make your own Word Circle:

Step 1: Select the Word Circle Template from the ‘Presentation’ panel.

Step 2: Drag your Word Circle Template into the Lesson Pathway.

Step 3: Give your new Tile a title.

Step 4: Click the ‘Edit Tile’ button.

Step 5: From the edit screen, you can choose to change your title, and enter a description. A description is optional, and will appear under your title if you chose one.

Step 6: Add an image to go in the middle of your Word Circle template.

Image Tips: Our suggested image size for the Word Circle Template is 450 x 450 pixels. This image will sit in the middle of your Word Circle Template, and will be cropped so as to be circular, so make sure you keep this in mind when choosing a square image!

Step 7: To start building your Word Circle, select the green ‘Add New Item’ button.

Step 9: Enter a title and description for your new item.

Step 10: When you’re done adding text, select the green checkmark to save your changes.

Note: To add additional list segments, simply repeat the process.

You can re-order each item by using the ‘drag and drop’ handles on the left. The order they’re displayed in here is the order that will be displayed to Participants.

Step 11: To preview your interactive template, click on the ‘preview’ icon.
