Changing the name of your workspace and subdomain is simple!

Workspace name

The Workspace name is the name that will be visible to all of your users, when they are invited to your workspace, and will also appear in various locations within the UI. In light of this, we recommend that you use your organization’s name.

Workspace domain

The Workspace is the unique URL that your users use to log into the workspace. The unique part of the URL is the subdomain, which you can change to suit your organization. E.g. "subdomain.coassemble.com".

If you would like to use your own domain name, you can do this by adding a Custom domain.

What is the site title?

The site title is the title that is displayed in the browser next to your website favicon. It is used to represent the content of your site and will be displayed in search results. Below you can see an example of a site title for the Coassemble website.

Changing the settings

To change any of the settings, click the settings icon from the bottom of the sidebar menu in your workspace, and choose the 'Customize' option.

Once on the Customize page, you'll see the settings you're looking for are on the first tab called General. For each setting you want to change, click the edit button next to each option, edit the text, and select the green checkmark to confirm the change.

Note: Before changing your hostname, ensure that you do not have any users using the workspace as they will be automatically logged out of the workspace (including yourself).
