💡 Coassemble has in-platform translation capabilities in Chinese, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish. This means that if a learner accesses Coassemble and their browser language is set to one of those languages, the platform will be translated. The trainer dashboard is only available in English.

When creating content for your learners, it is crucial to make your content as easily accessible as possible for your learners. Coassemble has the capability to create multi-language content with its duplication function. This will allow you to convert your content to the required language, which enables learners of any language to study your content.

Creating Multi-Language Content with Duplication

As an example, we will focus on the steps for converting a Course from English to another language, whilst keeping a master copy of the Course.

Step 1: Find the Course you wish to convert into another language, click the ‘Options’ button and then select ‘Duplicate course’.

Step 2: From here, you will be able to choose to edit the Course name (you may want to add what language the Course is in - optional), and select what Workspace and Folder the duplicated Course will be added to. Once you’re finished, click ‘Duplicate course’.

Step 3: Locate your new duplicated Course in the Course menu. To edit, click anywhere on the Course card.

Step 4: Navigate to the screen you want to translate, and start editing the copy.

Step 5: If you are fluent in the required language, you can begin converting. However, you can also use your preferred translation program - for this example, we are using Google Translate.

Step 6: Once you’ve finished translating the content, click the ‘Publish’ button at the top of the page.

Your content will now be supported by a different language!
