There are two ways to add documents into a Coassemble course:
- Using the document upload module
- Using the WYSIWYG text editor
Uploading a document using the Document Upload Module
Step 1: Navigate to the desired course you wish to add a document to. Simply click the ‘Add Module’ button, and then select the ‘Document’ module.
Step 2: Give your document a name.
Step 3: From here, you can upload documents by simply clicking the ‘Drop file here or click to upload’ button. Once you’ve finished, don't forget to press the Save Changes to save your changes.
Note: You can upload up to 5 documents in the document upload module.
Uploading a document using the WYSIWYG text editor
Step 1: Navigate to the lesson within a course that you wish to upload a document to. Simply click the ‘upload file’ button.
Step 2: A window will pop-up, click on the ‘Drop file (or click)’ button. From here you will be able to browse your computer for the file, or alternatively drag the file into the pop-up.
Step 3: This uploads the file to your module and will be presented as a link.
Note: If you'd like to link to a document from within a Course overview, Lesson, Quiz, or Assignment, you can do so using the hyperlink tool in the WYSIWYG text editor.
