Coassemble allows you to add your logo, custom fonts, and color schemes across all parts of your workspace (including your login screen). Simply head over to the Customize Menu.

From here you can customize the following components of your Coassemble Workspace:

  • Workspace Name (Name of workspace that users will log into)
  • Hostname (URL you login at and send Participants to)
  • Header logo and background color
  • Custom workspace Banner (include an organization logo and organization mantra)
  • Workspace Colors (i.e. the Color Scheme used for your portal)
  • Lesson Font Size
  • Lesson Template Colors (e.g. background colors for Lesson Templates)
  • Lesson Feedback Popups
  • Advanced CSS options

Hostname

From the Customize Page, select the URL tab. From here you can change your:

  • Workspace Name (used to display the name of your Organisation through the Coassemble LMS)
  • Hostname (used to customize your portal’s unique web address)

Logo

From this page, you can change the header logo and background color for the top menu.

To add a logo to the header, click the 'Add Image' button. This will allow you to add a smaller logo (40px high by 200px wide) that will appear on the header of your workspace.

Make sure you select a background color that compliments your logo. To do this, change the 'Top Menu Color' option by clicking into the color fields and selecting a color that suits.

Once you're happy, hit the save button.

Colors

Your exact color scheme can be adjusted to match an existing style guide (or similar) using the color pickers. Using the color pickers is easy, simply click into the picker field and use the color selector.

For more information on how changing each color will effect your workspace, click on the little question icons and it will bring up more information relating to that color.

Click the 'Save' button to save your changes. Alternatively, if you don't like what you've done, you click the 'Restore Defaults' button.

Note: While this might seem pretty straightforward, it can end up a mess if you’re not working from a color palette you’ve put some thought into. It’s also a good idea to check the contrast of any colors used. If you’re a paying Coassemble customer, the team will happily help you out with creating a color scheme.

Lessons

Lessons Content Font Size

The default font size for Lessons can be adjusted on the Lessons Tab.

When you preview a lesson you'll notice their are two font size options. Changing the base font size to a larger number will make all lessons in your workspace appear with bigger fonts. If you change the Bigger font size option, selecting the large A (in the image below) while in a Lesson, will reveal the effects of this change.

Lesson Template Colors

Each Coassemble Lesson template is associated with a particular color. The reason we've done this is to help form an association between a particular color the type of media your Participants are consuming. For example, all Checkpoints are yellow, and all presentation templates are blue. You can change the color of each Lesson Template by clicking into the color picker field and adding the color you want.

The 'Additional Colors' are used to complement the Lesson template colors. Combined, the additional colors and the Lesson Template colors form to create a color wheel.

Once you're happy with your changes, click the 'Save' button to save your changes. Alternatively, if you don't like what you've done, you click the 'Restore Defaults' button.

Lesson Feedback Pop-ups

Coassemble comes pre-loaded with a range of fun feedback pop-ups!

We’ve designed the platform in a way that lets you create your own feedback notifications…

To edit or add new feedback pop-ups, go to the Customize page and then click on the Lesson Feedback tab. Click "Add a new popup" and from this screen it’s possible to add your own images, logos, slogans or animated GIFS.

You can also customize the feedback messages included with each feedback pop-pop:

Advanced/Custom CSS

Custom CSS/Less can also be applied – this can be a tad tricky, so if you need a hand updating your schemes (or fonts), please contact support@coassemble.com – our designers can help create a palette that compliments your organisational branding and colors.

If you’d like to give it a go yourself, check out our article on how to use Custom Fonts in your campus.
