We've included a great tool that allows you to display external websites straight into your Coassemble lesson. This can be a great way to ensure your Learners can access external data all while staying with the Coassemble platform.
But what is iframe?
An IFrame (Inline Frame) is a HTML document embedded inside another HTML document on a website. The IFrame HTML element is often used to insert embeddable content from another source into a Web page. Although an IFrame behaves like an inline image, it can be used to easily navigate to an external website from within your lesson.
Step 1: Grab the URL of the website you'd like to embed using iframe
You will need to ensure the website has HTTPS, not HTTP. iframe requires a secure connection
Step 2: Go to the Lesson tile you would like to embed using iframe and select the button pictured below:
Step 3: Paste the URL into the URL text field, and click Insert
Step 4: Save the Tile and click Preview. You should then see your iframe displaying the external HTTPS website
